Alongside Halo's move to Hollywood, the cult classic hellish game Doom will be coming to theaters October 21st of this year. The movie stars The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, Karl Urban, The Bourne Supremacy and The Chronicles of Ridick, and Rosamund Pike, Die Another Day and Pride & Prejudice. The film is being directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, Lethal Weapon 4 and The Devil's Advocate. Screenplay is by Wesley Strick and Dave Callaham.
The movie will be based on the most recent Doom game, Doom 3. If you are unfamiliar with the Doom 3 storyline here it is, taken from the Doom 3 Official Website.
Universal Pictures will distribute the Doom The Movie.
