Burton creates a Feature of a Animated Short.

Shane Acker, a man with a dual masters degree in Architecture and Animation, has achieved any animators dream. He recently showed one of his ten minuted animated short called "9" at a specials Judges' Choice Awards, where he won best animated film for his short film. It has also won other awards such as Best in Show at Siggraph!

The judges weren't the only ones shocked by the film. Focus Features has agreed to turn Acker's award winning film into a full length animated feature with the help of star packed team. Team Burton (Nightmare Before Christmas, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), Timur Bekmambetov(Russian Director of Night Watch) and Jim Lemley ( Executive Producer of RED EYE). Acker will even be able to direct the film.
